My name is Allie Shakked Zur and I'm an educator, writer and an experienced translator currently living in Tel Aviv. Hebrew and English are both my native tongues and I have a background in hebrew linguistics and in education as well as sports and physiology. I do translation, proofreading and transcription work in both languages in both directions.

I am bilingual (RUS-ENG) and have a great love for languages that has led me to learn 5 other languages. I have lived in France, the US, the UK and now Austria. I've been in translations/linguistics since 1997, millions of words, vast experience, a great lot of fields, I've worked for Google, Airbnb, governments (local and states), just name it. I'm fond of languages. I can speak English (of course), French, Russian, some German, Norwegian, Chinese and even Ukrainian. I've studied Icelandic and am familiar with Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Faroese. I've been born to German-speaking Austrian parents but was raised in English-speaking Canada. Due to this fact and to the fact that I competed my Master's in Austria, I am fluent in both languages and am fond of translating from German into English. Since 2000, when I started my translator's career, I've managed to translate millions of words in a great range of fields, from fiction to medicine.
